Prairie Style Chair

This chair was commissioned and was patterned after a chair I had already constructed but with a couple of minor differences. On my original chair I had wider “splats” and the customer wanted narrow slats instead. They also wanted a different stain color. This chair was made of quartersawn red oak. It has an ash seat frame. The older customers who come in our store like to sit our store chair because it is really easy to stand when ready to leave.
